How to store hemp oil so that it does not lose its properties?

For hemp oil to maintain the maximum of its beneficial substances – it must be stored under certain conditions. Let’s see why!

Hemp oil is the essence of what is most important and valuable in hemp plants. Hemp oil is widely used in the kitchen to prepare meals, cocktails and as an addition to salads. People who value natural care also use it as a cosmetic for hair and skin.

oil nutritional values

HempHemp seed oil is made from cold-pressed hemp seeds (not ratified). Thanks to this production method, it retains the most beneficial nutrients. Its main power is the incredibly high content of essential fatty acids Omega 3 and Omega 6, which support the proper functioning of the heart and brain and are responsible for many processes in the human body.

The presence of omega acids in the diet is a very important point in the healthy diet of each of us – from young children in the period of intensive development to the elderly. The abundant content of healthy fats effectively protects the body against the harmful effects of free radicals and the so-called oxidative stress, and also helps fight various inflammations. Hemp oil is a real delicacy from the group of „superfood” products, i.e. those that have a holistic effect on the health of the whole body and well-being.

How to store hemp oil?

In addition to the taste – i.e. the specific, nutty aftertaste – the main advantage of using hemp oil in the kitchen (and not only) is the presence of very healthy fatty acids. Unfortunately, from a chemical point of view, the structure of their connections is unstable and is easily oxidized. Hemp oil, if stored improperly, may lose a large part of its health-promoting properties, although its external appearance will not indicate it. It is true that the saturated fats contained in hemp oil are more durable than those contained, for example, in real olive oil, and so are exposed to the lipid oxidation process, which affects the formation of, for example, harmful free radicals.

The main enemy of the health benefits of hemp oil is light and temperature. Fatty acids oxidize in a chain reaction consisting of initiation, propagation and termination. Initiation begins with high temperature, intense light and contact with metal. In later stages, harmful radicals are formed from lipids, so by improper storage of the oil, instead of a beneficial dose of healthy fats, the opposite effect is obtained.

Proper oil storage – protection against oxidationcontaining

All oilspolyunsaturated fatty acids (hemp oil, linseed oil) must be stored at low temperature and should not be exposed to intense light for a long time. Real hemp oil is usually delivered in a dark glass bottle – this is an additional protection against the harmful effects of light. The best place to store hemp oil is in the refrigerator. It is worth remembering that at lower temperatures, hemp oil may become cloudy, but it does not affect the health properties of the oil in any way. Also, make sure the oil bottle is tightly closed. Hemp oil can also defend itself against oxidation because it has a fairly high content of natural vitamin E with antioxidant properties. Interestingly, it has the highest concentration of polyphenols and phytosterols compared to other healthy oils (e.g. linseed), which means that in addition to their beneficial effects on health, they contribute equally to maintaining the remaining values of hemp oil.

Why can’t hemp oil be heated?

Hemp oil should not be heated. When exposed to high temperature, the oil releases harmful compounds – acrylamide and acrolein, which are produced as a result of the trans-isomerization process, i.e. during frying. The best solution that does not harm, on the contrary – has a great effect on health, is the use of cold oil – sprinkling it with salads, adding it to cocktails and sprinkling ready-made dishes after their preparation.

Hemp oil has a fairly long shelf life. This period, however, is dictated only by the proper storage of the product. The average shelf life of hemp oil, under ideal storage conditions, is about 2 months from the date of opening. In a closed form, it can be up to six months (counting from the date of its production).

Hemp flour – properties and application

food Is there exactly hemp flour, how it is made, what is it made of, what is its nutritional value, its use and use in the kitchen. You can read about it all here.

Why is it worth using hemp flour in the kitchen?

Currently, most of us care about our diet. He chooses and eats more vegetables, limits or excludes sweets, and gives up flour products. We do it for various reasons – pressure from the environment, worse mood, willingness to support a loved one. Sometimes we strongly link to the current trend, e.g. gluten demonization. Then we disconnect from products based on it, i.e. most baked goods in traditional bakeries. However, if we do not have celiac disease, excluding it may not be the best idea. If you only eat carrots (not organic, but soaked with pesticides), you would develop an allergic reaction after some time.

This does not mean that the carrot as a vegetable is bad in itself. Likewise, in the case of gluten, your body signals you to think about what you eat and how much. It also demands values necessary for proper functioning. One of the best solutions is adding hemp flour to our meals.

What is hemp flour Hemp flour is

made by pressing the oil from the seeds. The resulting pomace is cleaned of oil residues, dried, and then ground. Depending on the technology used, the graininess of the flour may be more or less perceptible. This flour is completely gluten-free and, rarely, grain-free. The taste is slightly nutty and some people notice a slight bitterness.

It can also be eaten raw (by people on a RAW diet). It has a dark color, falling into gray. Hemp flour comes from hemp seeds, i.e. hemp, which has been cultivated in Poland for hundreds of years. It is hemp that has no psychoactive effects, it does not contain THC, unlike cannabis.

Hemp is legal in Poland, unlike cannabis. However, it cannot be grown without a permit. In addition to hemp flour, you can findus hemp flower tea with, and even hemp roots.

Hemp flour – nutritional values

As with hemp oil (which we wrote more about here), flour has a whole complex of healthy acids, amino acids, vitamins and minerals. One of its greatest advantages is the golden ratio of omega 6 and 3 fatty acids. Hemp flour is characterized by a high content of zinc, potassium, magnesium, iron and calcium – much greater than that of meat or milk. It also has the highest concentration of globulins (65%) which play a significant role in repairing damaged DNA.

Absorption and digestion – flour also has amino acids that support the proper absorption of ingredients that are in the digestive system. It significantly speeds up the metabolism, because it has not only soluble but also insoluble fiber. Hemp flour is easy to digest – which can be helpful for people with gastric problems. It is also recommended for people with diabetes as it helps to stabilize blood insulin levels.

Best digestible protein – Another important point is the high protein content in hemp – between 20-35%. It is worth adding that the more important element is what percentage of this protein will be absorbed by our body (e.g. soy, which also has a high content, is not so well absorbed unless it has been fermented earlier). Polish scientists from the University of Krakow have tested that in the case of hemp flour, up to 90% of the protein is absorbed into the body! It is much more absorbable than, for example, steak proteins!

Hemp flour – application and use in the kitchen Hemp

flour is worth adding to your diet in any form due to its high nutritional value. It’s a good idea to replace some of the flour in your recipe with hemp flour. This will make our meal gluten-free, a very healthy ingredient, rich in fiber and other nutrients, and which will only slightly change the taste of a dish or baking. Hemp flour should make up 15-20% of all flour used in the recipe. Remember not to exceed 20%, otherwise the recipe may not come out.

The exception is our flagship hemp cookie recipe, where we use up to 50% of it! Remember, however, that hemp flour can also be eaten raw. As an addition to salads, smoothies or as a topping for yoghurt. Hemp flour is especially recommended for people who often play sports, for people who want to improve their health and have a balanced diet.

It is also used outside the kitchen: it fights dandruff, improves circulation, lowers cholesterol, soothes premenstrual tension, strengthens immunity, adds energy, soothes arthritis and speeds up metabolism.

Summary

Hemp flour has not only a whole range of favorable ingredients, but also helps to assimilate them in the greatest possible concentration. It is the perfect solution to add the whole complex of values that are missing in our current diet and enjoy better health. It is the safest and most natural way to increase the body’s efficiency and increase the amount of vitamins necessary for the body.

The use of CBD in animals

What helps the CBD in animals? Dosage and how to administer? How long should we give CBD to our pets?

Abroad, the use of CBD in animals is gaining more and more popularity, and you can come across many products specifically designed for pets. In Poland, this knowledge is slowly reaching, but we can already see how the interest in this topic is growing. It is true that it is difficult to find specialized products, but remember that there is no need to buy them. Animals will be affected by the same extract that we take ourselves, but in a much smaller dose. This may even be a better solution as we are then able to better control the exact dose.

What does CBD help with in animals?

Animals like us have an endocannabinoid system and receptors that process cannabinoids and produce the endocannabinoid themselves. When the body is weak (it can be caused by disease, for example) this system may have problems to function properly. Thanks to the use of CBD, we externally stimulate and stimulate the endocannabinoid system to work.

CBD can be used for dogs, cats and other animals (unfortunately information about other animals is scarce). Using CBD in pets can help with many ailments, e.g. relieving pain and nausea, getting rid of anxiety or inflammation (e.g. arthritis) and relieving pain caused by the appearance of cancer. The most noticeable changes will appear when our pet is struggling with difficult ailments (as then the effects are most visible). Documented accounts show how the animals could return to walking again (if they had problems with it), their joy and desire to eat returned. At this link you can read the story of how a little chihuahua returned to walking. On this page, in turn, you can see many stories with photos and descriptions of how CBD administration helped dogs and cats. We also remind you of the story of our client who gave her sick female macerate from our hemp.

If your pet is not struggling with troublesome ailments, but you can see that it is too hyperactive, stressed, cannot cope with the environment, or has a problem, and the vet cannot determine the cause, we can see how the extract will act on it. A small dose is enough to see if CBD will help in this case.

Interestingly, recently there was also information (initial research) that CBD helps fight diabetes – in humans and animals.

Dosage

Animals are much smaller than humans, so the relatively small initial dose we would take for ourselves should be even lower for animals. At this link you can find approximate recommendations for the amount of the extract in terms of the weight of your pet. Remember to always start with as little extract as possible and increase it over time. For animals, it is best to keep the minimum dose for 3/4 days and only increase it thereafter. Observe the pet and if we see the need, again after 3/4 days, increase the dose minimally, and so on until you achieve visible results. It is not recommended to feed more than 3 milligrams of CBD extract for every kilogram of your pet’s weight.

In the case of animals, the problem is that we are not able to find out from them whether their condition has improved – we only have to observe. Therefore, a good solution is to carefully

observe our pet for the first two weeks when we start giving him CBD and write down our observations.

The best way to serve it is to put in the right amount of the extract to eat your pet. However, if we are already giving him other medications prescribed by the vet, we should wait about 2 hours.

When using the extract in cats, be especially careful as cats are characterized by the fact that they store excess drugs in the liver. Therefore, in this case, increase the initial dose very slowly.

How long should I give CBD for animals?

When we notice an improvement in our pet at a certain dose, stay with it for up to two weeks and then very slowly reduce it. Remember to strive for the endocannabinoid system to be fully self-sufficient and not need external help 🙂

How is CBD used?

What should we pay attention to when choosing CBD, how to use it, how long should CBD be used to see the effects and many other answers

When choosing a CBD extract, what should we pay attention to?

On many websites that offer CBD extracts, we can find information about its concentration per milliliter of fluid. When choosing the right one for us, remember that the concentration in the bottle is not the same as the dose we should take. It is not really important what concentration we buy, it’s important that we always start with a small amount of CBD and increase the dose as needed. For starters, it’s best to choose extracts with a low concentration of CBD and start with one drop and increase the dose if necessary until you notice the effects. Remember that concentration is not important – the dose is important.

It is also good to pay attention to the information whether the extract you buy has the full spectrum of cannabinoids (preferred, because then it acts synergistically with others) or whether it is an isolated CBD.

How long does CBD last for?

Before you read, remember that the absorption system varies from person to person, so these times should serve as a gentle guideline. The best way is to observe your body yourself 🙂ingest

The biggest factor influencing the duration of action is how youCBD. We can distinguish 4 ways: inhalation, smearing on a designated place, swallowing or taking it under the tongue.

In the first method (by inhalation), the effects can be observed very quickly, but they only last from 1 to 4 hours.

In the second method (application to the skin) the effect is immediate and the durability is quite short as it usually disappears shortly after the ointment or liquid is rubbed off the smeared area.

In the third method (swallowing), we have to wait quite a long time for the effects (up to 1 hour), but the effects will last quite a long time, even up to 8 hours.

The last way (taking under the tongue), the effects are visible up to 40 minutes and can last up to 6 hours.

Assuming, remember that for some people a single dose taken at the beginning of the day is sufficient, others prefer to take it every few hours to keep the effect. It all depends on our preferences.

How often should i take CBD?

It all depends on what effects you expect. Most people take it once or twice a day. It all depends on how you take it and how quickly your body absorbs it. If someone is taking for a better sleep, it is enough once a day (at bedtime). If someone has areas of the body that they use, they usually do it several times a day.

How long does it take to take CBD to see results?

It all depends on the form in which we take CBD. The fastest way is to inhale CBD through a special vaporizer or inhaler. Then the effect is immediate.

The second fastest way is directly to the wound or area that needs to be healed. Within minutes.

The third place is taking the CBD extract under the tongue – then the duration of action is from 15 to 40 minutes.

The longest for the effects is when we take CBD in the form of capsules or in nutritional products. However, the effects of taking CBD in this form last the longest. It can then work for up to 8 hours (compared to CBD taken with the above-mentioned methods where the effect lasts up to 4 hours).

However, it should be remembered that the time of action and subsequent effects depends individually on the person. Each person feels the effects differently.

At the beginning it is recommended to take small doses, wait about an hour for the effects and only then take the next dose.

How Much CBD Should I Take To Get Better Sleep?

Research has shown that CBD helps with insomnia. The test subjects noticed an improvement after taking 40 mg of CBD (best to start with 25 mg and slowly increase). You can read more about it in this article.

Does CBD help with learning and ADHD?

For most people, CBD extracts aid learning as CBD helps reduce anxiety. If a person has a learning disability for this reason, CBD is likely to help. When using CBD to help you learn, it’s best to start with as little as possible (a higher dose can make you drowsy), and increase the dose until you see an improvement in our concentration.

Does CBD Help With Pain?

It helps – as CBD helps reduce inflammation in the body. What’s more, taking CBD produces the same state in our body that we have after heavy physical exertion.

Should you take CBD with food or on an empty stomach?

CBD taken on an empty stomach will work much faster – you can read about it here. However, if you noticed that you feel discomfort after taking it empty, it is better to take it after eating.

CBD – does it have any side effects?

Clinical trials have shown that taking CBD, even in doses much higher than recommended, has almost no side effects. In very rare cases only slight dizziness, diarrhea or decreased / increased appetite have been noted. It should be noted, however, that in the studies the doses were much higher than the recommended ones.

If we notice any side effects (e.g. increased fatigue), it may not be due to CBD, but to another ingredient that is part of the extract we have purchased (many people feel tired, e.g. from terpenes).

How to distinguish between sativa and Indian?

What is the difference between popular(which contains psychoactive compounds) and sowing (which does not)?

General Description The

multitude of names surrounding the topic of cannabis does not really help it gain popularity. A large proportion of people do not even realize that we can distinguish many varieties of this plant, and the most popular ones are completely different from each other. It is worth finding out what makes these plants different, because their health properties can be extremely important to us.

Starting from the beginning – we have the Cannabis family (commonly known as cannabis or hemp). It consists of several species, the most famous are Sativia (Seed) and Indica (Indian or otherwise marijuana). We can easily remember because their first letters are the same. These main species are divided into smaller varieties that have different content of individual components (mainly CBD and THC).

We can compare this to lemon (which in our case will be hemp) and orange (which will be cannabis). They are from the citrus family (in our case, the cannabis family), but they also have their own varieties such as camo oranges or the „Buddha’s hand” lemon. The same in the case of cannabis, depending on its variety, it can range from low to high THC.

Cannabis

Universally the most popular is „marijuana” or Cannabis Indica. It is illegal in most countries because it is psychoactive. This is due to the high content of the cannabinoid THC. Depending on the variety, the content varies between 10% and 27%. Correlations were found that the higher the THC concentration, the lower the CBD concentration. Learn more about what cannabinoids are.

Visually, the cannabis plant is also characterized by short stature (up to 150 cm) and slightly wider leaves compared to true hemp. Its cultivation requires very favorable weather conditions, including high intensity of sunlight and little rainfall.

hemp

Currently, become increasingly popular hemp. It is a legal cannabis variety that is used in many ways. Among other things, textiles, construction, food and even cosmetics. It has a high CBD content and a very low THC content (less than 0.1%).

Due to this, it does not cause any psychoactive changes in the person who takes it. It also differs visually – the leaves are narrower than cannabis, and the plant can reach up to 5 meters! Its cultivation is not demanding and is completely possible in Poland, even with such a low insolation 😉

Hemp matcha – a new trend

In this post you will learn what hemp matcha is, why it is more digestible than hemp leaves and how to give it

Hemp matcha

Most of us have come across the term „matcha”, i.e. powdered tea. It is traditionally made from green tea, the leaves of which have been darkened a few weeks before being harvested (giving it a distinct green color). Currently on the market we can come across a white version, oolong or pu-erh. The Hemp House comes with hemp matcha.

Health benefits

The phenomenon of matcha is based on the fact that we do not drink tea leaves, but actually consume the entire plant. We know how good it is to consume an infusion of hemp leaves (tea from the leaves) – now we should realize how good it is for our body to eat the leaves whole, absorbing all their ingredients. All macro and microelements have a chance to be fully delivered to our body, thanks to which we can fully enjoy all its health benefits. Hemp matcha will improve our mood in the morning without the burden of caffeine, and in the evening it will help us fall asleep faster.

Cannabis can be determined to have nootropic abilities. Any chemical that improves mental function can be such an ingredient. Hemp meet all the criteria for classification as nootropic:

– improves learning and memory

– makes it harder for us to disperse,

– protects the brain against physical and chemical damage, – improves the efficiency of the mechanisms in the brain

– has no significant side effects

process preparations

When preparing matcha, we must be very careful about the appropriate preparation temperature. If the water is too hot, the healthful ingredients of the hemp plant will break down and give the tea a bitter aftertaste. The optimal temperature is 80-90 degrees Celsius.

To prepare one serving, we need 200 ml of water and 1 teaspoon of hemp matcha. Matcha should be thoroughly mixed with water, preferably using a special matcha whisk, a small whisk or even a fork (to get rid of lumps completely).

Other ways of serving

Hemp Matcha can be drunk not only with water, but also with milk. It is enough to prepare matcha with half the amount of water (i.e. 100 ml) and add heated milk to it. If we want, we can add a little honey or agave syrup.

Hemp matcha can also be added to our breakfasts:

– smoothies – at the end, just add a teaspoon (for 200 ml) and stir,

– porridge – after removing it from the fire, add a teaspoon and stir so that it combines with the rest of the ingredients

– yogurt – mix 1- 2 teaspoons, and then add any additives as you wish (muesli, fruit,

nuts), this color will put you in a wonderful mood in the morning 😉

Why should CBD be taken with CBD?

Why is it worth combining both substances? What exactly is CBDa?

In addition to CBD, the hemp plant contains many beneficial cannabinoids, each of which has a slightly different, targeted health effect. The deliberate combination of CBD cannabinoid with CBDa is considered one of the better and more effective. Many specialists recommend them during natural supplementation.

What is CBDa?

CBDa is a substance contained in theplant hemp, otherwise known as cannabidiolic acid. Like the well-known and perhaps the most popularized CBD (cannabidiol), CBDa is also a type of cannabinoid. When examining the composition of the fresh cannabis plant, you will find that there is very little CBD and extremely much CBD. This is because CBDa is the acidic precursor to the later CBD, which is only formed when the hemp is heated and dried. The process that turns CBD into CBD using a higher temperature is called CBD. decarboxylation. People familiar with the principles of chemistry know that this is a reaction that removes the carboxyl group from a chemical compound, CBD begins to convert to CBD at relatively low temperatures.

The producers of CBDa oil harvest the stems, leaves and flowers and transform them into oil under plant-specific, lower heat conditions. Until not so long ago, it was believed that the hemp plant, without proper preparation using higher temperatures, did not bring much health value. Fortunately, as science progresses and studies on the beneficial effects of the substances contained in cannabis – scientists have found that CBDa is a very interesting cannabinoid that brings a number of benefits to the human body

. CBD and CBDa

effects. similar features. The first, essential thing is that both compounds do not react with the endocannabinoid system (a complex network of cell receptors and chemicals) in humans, and thus do not cause any psychosomatic effects.

The action of CBDa and CBD is based on acting on the human serotonymous receptors in the brain. Serotonin is responsible, among others, for the feeling of anxiety, nausea and is involved in the broadly understood regulation of mood. CBD and CBDa are also believed to have strong anti-inflammatory effects. Thanks to these features, regular supplementation of CBD and CBD can be beneficial for people who struggle with phobia or social anxiety on a daily basis, as well as for people who are extremely stressed, for example, in public speaking. Additionally, both compounds can be beneficial in the fight against depression, anxiety and prolonged blues / depression.

It is all thanks to the influence of cannabinoids on the production of serotonin. It is also worth mentioning that people who often complain of nausea, e.g. related to taking pharmacological agents, may also consider supplementing with CBD and CBD.

CBD or CBDa? Which to supplement?

Both CBDA and CBD can be very beneficial to health – what’s more, they carry many similar health benefits. Research suggests that CBD on its own may be more helpful than CBD in treating depression and nausea. CBD is used more often for anxiety, epilepsy, and pain. Both, however, can help greatly in the treatment of cancer, inflammation and many other chronic diseases. The best and most recommended method of supplementation is to use CBD and CBD simultaneously. These two cannabinoids work together incredibly well to complement and enhance each other’s effects. This combination is able to improve overall health faster.

Like CBD, CBD can be supplemented in a variety of forms. CBD can be added to juices, smoothies, and salad dressings. It is only worth remembering that it should be eaten cold – it cannot be heat treated or added to a hot dish. However, for typical, regular supplementation, oils are recommended, as they make it easier to control the daily dose consumed.

CBDa oil is the easiest way to get the benefits of cannabidiolic acid. It works just like CBD oil. It is enough to measure out a certain number of drops and hold them under the tongue. Since CBD and CBDa complement each other perfectly, it is not necessary to use both oils in high doses. Thanks to this – you not only save money, but also feel twice as effective.

Why is it worth combining CBD and CBD?

CBD and CBDa are natural substances with targeted healing effects that can be used for a variety of ailments, and many people use CBD and CBDa as a dietary supplement for good reason. These substances have a healing effect and can be used in various cases.

The action of CBD and CBDa are excellent for naturally supporting the immune system. Thanks to them, the absorption of vitamins and minerals from the diet is also improved. CBD and CBDa are also recommended for the elderly. Mature women, in the period of menopause, can use such supplementation and reduce the unpleasant symptoms of hormonal changes taking place in their body. When used regularly, CBD and CBDa can help soothe hot flashes, irritability and mood swings. CBDa enhances and concentrates the effects of CBD. Taking both cannabinoids together – more accurately and effectively influences the therapeutic effect.

More and more pharmaceutical companies are interested in the CBD cannabinoid – as you can see, for good reason! Due to the perfect complementation and enhancing the effects of natural supplementation – all those interested in quick improvement of their health and well-being are recommended to use CBD and CBD together – even for preventive purposes. They are safe and 100% natural and legal supplements that can be used by anyone – regardless of age.

How is CBD oil made?

How to check if CBD oil is of high quality, CBD production methods – alcoholic, and using CO2

The abbreviation of CBD comes from cannabidiol – a substance that, when used regularly, brings a wide range of health benefits. CBD oil can be an effective support in the treatment of chronic pain, reduces the feeling of anxiety, supports the treatment of depression, reduces nausea, and is an excellent agent that protects the neurological system against possible damage (including autoimmune damage). The production of CBD oil is a very detailed process. Oil can be obtained in several ways. How are they different? Which one is the best?

How to check if CBD oil is of high quality?

How do I recognize a good quality oil? By color, consistency and content of valuable pro-health ingredients. Unfortunately, usually only a specialist with many years of experience in the industry can quickly check whether the CBD oil offered by the seller is a wholesome product. However, there are several proven indications that the oil is of good quality. The answer starts at the very beginning, which is the type of hemp cultivation. For CBD oil to be perfect, the hemp plant it is sourced from must also be of high quality.

The whole process starts with planting healthy, genetically stable cannabis plants from a good variety. An important component of the later quality of hemp is also a specific type of soil dedicated to plant cultivation. According to specialists, the best land for cultivation is one that has a certain degree of acidity (from 6 to about 7.5 pH). The soil should also be well aerated and prepared for planting. Hemp plants like sun and water – the best ones come from crops where the sun shines most of the day and the plants receive plenty of water. Plants to be fed CBD oil are usually harvested during and during early fall. Why? Well, at this stage of growth, the cannabinoids in the cannabis plant reach their maximum concentration.

Already at this point it can be concluded that it is better to buy CBD oil from Polish producers who will have no difficulties in dispelling potential customers’ doubts about the origin of the plant. Choosing a Polish producer also guarantees compliance with certain regulations applicable to the cultivation of hemp.

The Best Methods of Extracting CBD Oil – A Handful of Extraction Knowledge

Right after the harvest, growers move on to the CBD extraction stage. In Poland, several extraction methods are used to obtain CBD oil from hemp. However, it is worth focusing on the three most popular.

Alcohol Method – Widely Recognized as the Best There

are many opinions about which method of extracting CBD oil is the best. Some people believe that CO2 extraction is the best method of obtaining CBD, but it is worth mentioning that the use of CBD extraction with e.g. ethanol (alcohol method) results in an almost perfect CBD oil, which has excellent proportions of terpenes (C5H8) n, with a trace amount of THC ( tetrahydrocannabinol). CBD oil is distilled at different temperatures and pressures and times. What’s important – the distillate prepared in this way does not have a negative alcohol aftertaste and retains all the substances that contribute to the high effectiveness of the prepared oil.

It is worth paying attention to essential oils, i.e. terpenes, as well as amino acids and flavonoids, which retain their maximum concentration during distillation, and unfortunately, in the case of CO2 extraction, they slightly „escape”. Due to the advantages of the oil obtained in this way, the best producers of CBD oil, who want to provide customers with the highest quality CBD oil, use the alcohol method in the production process. During ethanol extraction, fresh hemp plants are soaked in alcohol (ethanol, moonshine, and the like). Thanks to this, you can extract the desired, pro-health CBD from plants, as well as other cannabinoids, such as CBG, THCV, CBC and CBN, each of which has a different, targeted effect on the well-being of the body.

Then the liquid is very carefully filtered and subjected to further processes. It’s a simple, traditional process that results in top-quality CBD oil that contains really trace amounts of THC. Due to the entire process, the alcohol method is reserved exclusively for professionals.

Carbon dioxide extraction – CO2 CO2

extraction is a chemical method, but at the same time it is still safe, ecological and natural. Thanks to CO2 extraction, the CBD oil producer has the opportunity to avoid the use of aggressive solvents and other chemicals. Thanks to the extraction of CBD oil using the CO2 extraction method, the final product obtains a very high level of purity, so it does not need to undergo additional purification. Unfortunately, there are also quite significant drawbacks to this type of production. During extraction, instead of a wide range of valuable substances, only one cannabinoid is isolated. Due to these limitations – people wishing to use all the substances contained in hemp – are likely to choose CBD oil obtained through the alcohol method. In the course of this process, the so-called the fourth state of aggregation, i.e. the supercritical state in which, due to changes in pressure and temperature, the physical properties of the substance or plant to be extracted finally change. In this way, plant extracts that are not devoid of nutritional value are created. All the valuable compounds found in hemp, including the extremely important CBD, are separated and accumulated in a small amount of liquid. CBD oil obtained by the extraction method can be considered pure and high-quality.

method of producing CBD oil

HomemadePeople who have access to hemp and do not trust the products they buy can take the challenge and try to prepare CBD oil by themselves. What many people don’t realize is that it’s possible to make your own homemade CBD oil with a pot and a little olive oil, coconut oil, or some other oil. However, it is worth bearing in mind that when you try to obtain CBD oil yourself, you cannot be sure about its concentration and final quality. To obtain your own CBD oil at home, you need to properly prepare the plant material in advance. Plants (inflorescence) must be finely ground and well dried in the oven (about 60 minutes at about 100 degrees). This is where the decarboxylation phenomenon occurs. After the dried fruit has cooled down, you can proceed with further activities, i.e. extraction. In the next stages, the oil is mixed with dried over a pot of boiling water. The temperature should be adjusted so that the water bath is not too hot – the oil cannot burn. Such a decoction should be kept above the water bath for a minimum of 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally. When the oil is a deep brown-green color and the minimum time has passed, it will be a sign that the homemade CBD oil is ready. Finally, filter the oil through gauze and place it in the target glass vessel.

To sum up – to obtain the best CBD oil, plants of a good species are necessary, grown in soil with specific parameters. Then it is worth paying attention to which method the oil was obtained. According to many people – the alcohol method is the best. CBD oil prepared in this way certainly provides maximum health benefits with zero risk of side effects.

What does hemp look like?

Cannabis sativa can be identified at a glance. Comparing two species – the health-promoting hemp and cannabis known for its psychoactive properties – it is easy to see differences in the structure and appearance of plants.

– the history of

Cannabis sativaCannabis sativa staiva, is the Latin name for hemp. For thousands of years, hemp has been used in the kitchen – as an oil or in the form of flour, as a natural remedy that uses the beneficial effects of cannabidiol (CBD). The appearance of the plant that allows it to be classified is determined by the genetic difference between the different cannabis species.

Hemp has a powerful history of evolution behind it. At the dawn of time, our planet was overgrown with hemp forests, in which each single plant was even several dozen meters high! Already tens of thousands of years ago, hemp was divided into two growing regions. One took place in Europe, while the other was in Southeast Asia.

It can be concluded that the territorial division and the different climatic conditions related to the diversity of its place of occurrence have resulted in the classification of cannabis into several species (sativa – sowing, indica – Indian, etc.). The migration of people across continents, natural for the history of our planet, spread the seeds of both species around the world.

Selective breeding of cannabis led to the fact that virtually every cannabis at that time was a hybrid, i.e. a combination of both species. Nevertheless, botanists – plant experts definitely categorize all types of cannabis, and their varied appearance makes it possible to distinguish each of them.

What does hemp look like?

Hemp is an annual plant. For growers, this means that they have to plant and remove plants every year. Hemp has a male and a female form – in the professional nomenclature they are considered dioecious plants. The hemp seeds, leaves and fibers are obtained from the cultivated hemp. They can be used to make tea, hemp oil, CBD oil and seeds, and are even used to make hemp concrete! The plants are green, they reach a very large height, which can even exceed 3 meters! The plant has a thick single stem with green branches and very distinctive leaves. The hemp leaves are thin, oblong, five-fingered.

Unlike the Indian hemp, it has slender inflorescences gathered in the form of ears. This species of cannabis is one of the tallest in the cannabis family. The cultivation of hemp was once very popular, and the plants were most often used in the textile industry. Currently, thanks to the fashion for promoting a healthy lifestyle, these plants are a desirable pro-health agent that improves not only health and well-being, but also appearance (as a care ingredient).

Differences in the appearance of species

The most differences in the appearance of hemp can be noticed when comparing two species – true hemp and Indian hemp. The cannabis plant is denser and does not reach such an impressive height.

Their inflorescences also appear in the form of spikes, but at first glance you can see that they are more lush and have a greater volume. Another difference that will help distinguish the two species is the appearance of the leaves. Cannabis has fleshy, hard and wider leaves, while the leaves of the seed variety are light, soft, longer and very delicate. Nevertheless, the leaf appearance of both species is distinctive. The leaves are five-toed and oblong with a slightly notched surface. Hemp also gives off a specific, rather pungent smell. The cultivation of hemp does not degrade the soil as much as it is in the case of crops such as wheat and other grains.

In Poland, the cultivation of hemp seed is controlled. Its aim is to exclude the cultivation of other illegal species, except for hemp. Due to the differences in the appearance of plants visible at first glance, finding irregularities in crops is not difficult. The cultivation must also be carried out in accordance with the strict guidelines of the Act. So growing cannabis is not the easiest thing to do.

Hemp is used in the cosmetics and food industry and is an attractive, natural dietary supplement. CBD oil is also very popular, helping to reduce the unpleasant effects of diseases related to the nervous system, such as MS (multiple sclerosis). People who value care for their health and heart willingly reach for strengthening hemp teas, healthy cookies and even jams. Hemp fibers are used to produce durable ropes, leashes, collars, harnesses and teethers for animals – this is a natural ecological solution for pet owners who follow the low waste philosophy and appreciate ecological, natural products. Hemp also produces flour, cold-pressed oil and a great addition to salads, dishes, baked goods – hemp seeds. In the roasted version, they are an excellent snack – an alternative to nuts and sunflower seeds. Finally, it is worth adding that the cultivation of hemp is completely legal and very popular.
